Job summary

Tetherow Resort in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (full-time). You will work independently and with a team, perform diverse tasks across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and other building systems, and may require certification training.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality/hotel/resort settings preferred.
• Willing to undergo certification training.
• Available to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Energetic, customer-focused and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building areas in good repair across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and masonry.
• Perform preventive maintenance routines on building equipment and systems.
• Identify the correct preventive maintenance routine by reviewing documentation.
• Complete and record all maintenance actions with detailed records.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during cold weather.
• Maintain public areas, hotel guest rooms, and grounds; include trash pickup.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in accommodations.
• Complete daily rounds, identify/report problems, and respond to guests and work orders.

What you’ll do...

• Assist in maintaining all areas in good repair by performing tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering, and masonry.
• Perform preventive maintenance routines on all building equipment and systems.
• Identify the correct preventive maintenance routine for each piece of equipment or system by reviewing the documentation.
• Complete and record all maintenance actions, compiling and maintaining detailed records of all routines.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during cold weather conditions.
• Participate in maintaining public areas, hotel guest rooms, and property grounds, including trash pick‑up.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Complete daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems, and responding to guests and work orders.

Salary Information

$24 - $25 hourly wage.
