Cottonwood Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Park at Midtown Apartments in Greensboro to keep exterior and interior spaces in excellent condition. You will perform plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry repairs to maintain safety and comfort for residents.

Strong English communication is required for resident interactions, and you may work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts under the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• English communication and resident interaction required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call.
• Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs on-site.
• EPA certification Type II or Universal required.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.

Maintenance Technician at Park at Midtown Apartments

Qualifications & Required Experience of an Apartment Maintenance Technician

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and ability to navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and ability to navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards.
• Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs.
• EPA certification Type II or Universal is required.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
