Cottonwood Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Sugarmont Apartments & Townhomes in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves addressing repairs across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry while upholding safety and property standards.

The ideal candidate can communicate effectively in English, lift up to 50 lbs, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. EPA Type II or Universal certification is required; CPO is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Competenze

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards.
• Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs.
