Rockford Construction Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician Assistant to support a range of maintenance tasks for residential properties in Grand Rapids. The role involves assisting with interior and exterior repairs, maintaining supplies, and helping with apartment unit turns.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, prioritize tasks, and deliver excellent tenant service. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with tenants and team members.
• Knowledge of procedures and safety measures in areas of specialties used.
• Exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Basic computer knowledge and capability to learn.
• Have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance tasks for building interiors and exteriors.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with apartment unit turns.
• Support the Maintenance Manager on building issues.
• Provide great customer service to tenants and help operations run smoothly.
