CBRE's GlobalWorkplace Solutions Local is seeking a Maintenance Technical Apprentice to develop on-the-job skills in maintaining buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role sits within Engineering and Technical Services, focusing on support, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

You will learn from engineers, assist with installations, and work with management to improve energy efficiency and safety compliance across building systems.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, GED or currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college program.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs+.
• Able to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.

Mansioni

• Receive training from current engineers on safety and repair procedures.
• Observe engineers while they perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring systems run efficiently.
• Inspect new or existing installations for building code and safety compliance.
• Follow established procedures for repetitive tasks.
• Perform duties with clearly defined steps and minimal discretion.
