CBRE Group, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Maintenance Technical Apprentice to develop on-the-job skills maintaining buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This role sits within Engineering and Technical Services and supports preventive maintenance, repairs, and standard operations. You will train with engineers, observe preventive maintenance, assist with installations, and help ensure energy efficiency and code compliance across building systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college program or technical school.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Receive training from engineers on safety and repair procedures.
• Observe preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment.
• Support energy management and verify efficient operation of systems.
• Inspect installations for codes and safety compliance.
• Follow set procedures for repetitive tasks.
• Perform duties with clearly defined methods and minimal discretion.
