Preferred Apartment Communities is seeking a maintenance technician to perform repairs across appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and community facilities. The role includes handling emergency calls after hours and preparing units for rent-ready status.

Qualifications include 1–3 years of maintenance experience, refrigeration certification within 90 days, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift heavy items and work at heights. Company offers strong benefits for full-time staff.

Competenze

• 1-3 years maintenance experience with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Refrigeration certification (Type II or Universal) required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, move 300-lb items on wheels, climb 40-ft ladders, and use hand tools and test equipment.

Mansioni

• Complete maintenance requests including repairs to appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, gates, pools, and general community facilities.
• Respond to emergency calls during evenings, weekends, and holidays to resolve urgent maintenance issues.
• Prepare vacant units by completing all tasks required to make apartments rent-ready.
