Job summary

Towne Properties is seeking a Traveling Maintenance Technician for Merrick Place in Lexington, KY. The role involves hands-on maintenance across a multi-family community with an on-call rotation and a schedule Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Pay is up to $25/hour, with commissions and incentives based on experience. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, lighting, and pool/grounds tasks, and handle apartment turnovers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in multi-family residential maintenance.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair and lighting.
• Strong customer service skills and a cheerful attitude.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.
• Must have basic hand tools, valid driver's license, and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair and lighting tasks.
• Handle apartment turnovers and prepare homes for new residents.
• Address emergencies on-call and during on-site need.
• Complete work orders quickly with high-quality results.
• Maintain pool care and groundskeeping as required.
