Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Iowa Falls is hiring a Maintenance Team Member to maintain and repair buildings and systems critical to live operations. You will support facilities by servicing feed, water, ventilation, and equipment, reading drawings, and performing preventive maintenance.

The role requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, plus the ability to work on-call in a manufacturing environment. A valid driver’s license and DOT medical eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and work orders.
• Ability to read and interpret scale drawings and schedules.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass DOT medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, install, and inspect systems (feed, water, ventilation, and equipment).
• Use hand and power tools, welding equipment, and measuring devices.
• Follow work orders to determine maintenance needs and replacements.
• Be on call for emergencies as needed.
