Job summary

A Milwaukee foundry is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep production equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, heavy mechanical equipment, light industrial mechanical systems, compressed air systems, plumbing.
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, or Fluke meters.
• Experience with wax injection presses, sand blast units, older robotics, and induction melt furnaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, systems, and buildings.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct hands-on repairs of manufacturing equipment.
• Operate forklifts and skid loaders (training provided).
• Work with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
