Job summary

Cindavi seeks a Maintenance Technician to safeguard the Evansville, WI foundry by diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment. You’ll work with furnaces, molding and sand systems, conveyors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems to keep uptime high, safety strong, and productivity steady.

In this hands-on role, you’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, document activities in CMMS, and collaborate with production and engineering teams across shifts to deliver reliable operations.

Qualifications

• At least three years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Independent problem-solving and good communication across shifts.
• High school diploma or GED; vocational training valuable.
• Physically able to work around heat, noise, dust, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in a foundry environment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to identify wear, abnormal noise, vibration, overheating, and other issues.
• Diagnose equipment failures, complete root-cause analysis, and implement effective repairs to reduce downtime.
• Support welding, fabrication, equipment installation, and startup work as needed.
• Use CMMS to document maintenance activity, track parts, and keep the area organized.
• Partner with production and engineering teams to prioritize work and communicate safely.
• Follow lockout/tagout, PPE, and other security procedures daily.

Position Overview

Machines do not wait, and neither do we. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep our Evansville, Wisconsin foundry operation safe, reliable, and productive. This is a hands-on role for someone who can diagnose problems quickly, work confidently around heavy equipment, and take pride in restoring equipment the right way.

You will work with the machinery that keeps a high-output operation moving, including furnaces, molding machines, sand systems, shakeout equipment, conveyors, cranes, hoists, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Whether you are responding to a production issue, completing preventive maintenance, or helping bring new equipment online, your work will have a direct impact on uptime, safety, and the team around you.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in a foundry environment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to identify wear, abnormal noise, vibration, overheating, and other issues before they become bigger problems.
• Diagnose equipment failures, complete root-cause analysis, and implement effective repairs that reduce downtime.
• Support welding, fabrication, equipment installation, and startup work as needed.
• Use CMMS tools to document maintenance activity, track parts usage, and help keep the maintenance area organized.
• Partner with production and engineering teams to prioritize work, communicate clearly, and solve problems safely.
• Follow lockout/tagout, PPE, and other security procedures every day.

Qualifications

• At least three years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally in a foundry or other heavy manufacturing setting.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills, including comfort working with 480-volt electrical systems.
• The ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• A practical, independent problem-solving approach and the communication skills to work well across shifts and teams.
• A high school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training and electrical certification are valuable additions.
• The physical ability to work around heat, noise, dust, vibration, moving equipment, and to safely lift, climb, stand, and kneel as the work requires.
