Job summary

SIMONA Boltaron is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Afternoon Shift in Ohio. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance in a production manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on safety, communication, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will perform electrical, mechanical and hydraulic repairs, troubleshoot PLC sensors and support boiler operations while collaborating with production to resolve process issues. Overtime is required when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3-phase, 480 volt equipment.
• Industrial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment across electric, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems.
• Assist with extruder roll changes and repairs.
• Troubleshoot resin blending silo PLC sensors and diverters.
• Complete boiler startup/shutdown and blowdown tasks.
• Work with production to solve process issues.
• Fabricate auxiliary equipment.
• Take daily readings and samples from process equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.

Maintenance Technician (Afternoon Shift)

Qualifications

For this full-time position, SIMONA Boltaron is looking for a reliable, detail oriented individual to join our maintenance team. This individual must have hands on technical ability, work well alone and as a group, and be willing to work overtime as needed. Safety-minded, the ideal candidate must be a good communicator and a blameless problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Make equipment repairs (electric, mechanical and hydraulic systems)
• Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting
• Assist with extruder roll changes, blasting and repair
• Troubleshoot resin blending silo system (PLC sensors, diverters)
• Complete boiler start up/stop/blowdown
• Work with production to solve process issues
• Fabricate auxiliary equipment
• Take daily readings and samples from process equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks

Work Environment

This job operates in a production manufacturing facility.

Physical Demands

Walks, stands, bends, lifts, and moves continually during working hours and is subject to lifting 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Overtime required when necessary.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
