Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience in building maintenance.
• Technical certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facility systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders accurately.

Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician – Build More Than Buildings-Build Futures.Glenmont Job Corps Center, operated by Adams and Associates, seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities and Maintenance Team. In this role you will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where young adults can learn, grow, and prepare for successful careers. Schedule: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facility systems.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED. Advanced degrees preferred. Minimum one‑year experience in building maintenance required. Technical certificate preferred.

• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers and other building systems preferred.
• Must possess a valid in‑State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40pounds and/or assess the lift load to request necessary assistance.
