Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Worcester, MA site to maintain and repair plant equipment, buildings and grounds. The role emphasizes 5S housekeeping and basic preventive maintenance to ensure quality and safety on the Worcester plant floor.

You will use drills, drill presses, band saws, calipers and other tools, read schematics, and apply problem-solving skills to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit is being offered; candidates within 50 miles of Worcester, MA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on general plant machinery, building and grounds.
• Make simple repairs or replacement parts using tools and machine tools.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping; monitor equipment and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement efforts.
