Job summary

PlayCore is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician to diagnose and repair electrical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure uninterrupted production.

The role requires hands-on ability, PLC exposure, and strict adherence to safety rules; on-site work in Alabama with responsibilities that include CNC, AC/DC drives, electrical schematics, and fast problem solving.

You\'ll collaborate with a team to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical technology preferred.
• At least five years of industrial electrical experience including CNC, AC and DC drives.
• At least three years of PLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes company mission and ensures operation of machinery and equipment.
• Manages preventive maintenance and parts as needed.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Ensures machinery is functioning properly to support production.

They use diagnostic tools to find the root cause of an issue, and then they use power hand tools to fix the issue. Maintenance Electricians have an expert knowledge of electricity, as well as an aptitude for working with their hands.

• Using power hand tools is a big part of the repair process for Maintenance Electricians. They must be able to use drills, saws, solders and related tools safely and efficiently.
• Must have at least five years of Industrial Electrical experience including CNC, AC and DC drives with an associate degree in electrical or electronic technology or equivalent technical courses.
• Must have at least three years of PLC experience
