Milliken and Company in Portage, Wisconsin, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift to keep production equipment running safely. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and support capital projects while ensuring compliance with safety policies.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, knowledge of process control and experience with steam systems, pumps, valves, and CMMS software. A high school diploma or GED and a Wisconsin driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic mechanical skills with hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of process control, refrigeration, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, LOTO, and industrial safety practices.
• Experienced with steam systems, liquid transfer systems, pump repair, valve repair, and confined space entry.
• Current Wisconsin Driver's license.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-3 years maintenance experience or educational equivalent.
• 3-5 years maintenance experience or educational equivalent.
• Ability to repair and install piping; welding experience a plus.
• Computer skills and CMMS software experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance tasks to keep production equipment operational.
• Perform work at the highest safety levels, promote safety internally and work directly with contractors on safety procedures.
• Work with cross functional teams to identify and insure sound maintenance processes are develop for capital projects.
• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot all plant equipment.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
• Participate in 5S and TPM teams.
• Read PLC programs as needed and troubleshoot and correct problems pertaining to software and/or hardware.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist in developing and installing new equipment or plant expansion projects.
• Contact, direct and promote the safety of contractors to perform specific inspections or maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate and up to date maintenance records.
• Support on call requirements for the plant: 1 week duration, rotating responsibility.
• Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule.
