Summit Polymers is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipment in our injection molding facility. You will perform preventive maintenance on molding machines, paint lines and process water systems, and mentor apprentices on the shop floor.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, and a journeyman card preferred.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Maintenance
The Maintenance Technician is a skilled journeyman responsible for installing, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment dealing with hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems within an injection molding manufacturing facility. Equipment includes injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, process water systems, compressed air systems and automated paint lines.
High School Diploma or GED required, Journeyman card preferred
A minimum of 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment required
Basic understanding Electrical, Hydraulic and/or Mechanical systems required
Experience with troubleshooting and repairing Electrical, Hydraulic and Mechanical systems preferred
Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
This position typically does not require any travel.
