Saint-Gobain is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift in Portage, WI to keep manufacturing equipment running safely and reliably.
You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs and automation, operate machining tools, and support facility systems with meticulous documentation in CMMS.

We are searching for a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to support our 3rd Shift (10:15pm - 6:45am) operations in Portage, WI. As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure reliable and safe operation of machinery and facility systems during 3rd Shift. You'll collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support continuous improvement across the operation.
Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment, including troubleshooting issues, repairing components, and completing routine preventive maintenance tasks.
Diagnose, repair, and optimize automation systems, including PLCs, drives, sensors, and related control equipment.
Operate and maintain machining/fabrication tools (lathe, mill, drill press) to support equipment repairs and modifications.
Support facility and utility system upkeep, including hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, and general building maintenance.
Document work, manage parts inventory, and use computer systems (CMMS, Microsoft Office) to track maintenance activities and support continuous improvement.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3 -5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required. Extrusion Equipment is a PLUS!
