Job summary

Fresh Mark, Inc. in Massillon, Ohio is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a 3rd shift role. Must be hard working, detail oriented and drug free.

Starting wage is $28.95 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential for 3rd shift and a $300 sign-on bonus after three months. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to repair needs promptly.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience required.
• Must be hard working, detail oriented, and drug free.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Respond to routine and emergency repair calls in a timely manner.
• Operate and monitor utility systems and equipment per SOP.

Job description

The Fresh Mark Cold Storage facility in Massillon, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a 3 rd shift Maintenance position.

Must be hard working, detail oriented, and drug free.

Wage and Benefits

• Starting labor rate of $28.95/hr.
• $1.50 Shift Differential for 2 nd and 3 rd Shift
• $300 sign-on bonus after three months

Key Accountabilities

• Adheres to all food safety and personal safety requirements.
• Ensures the safe and appropriate operation of utility systems and equipment groups that include but are not limited to: Hot Water/Boiler and Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration systems, HVAC, child water, compressed air and suppression systems.
• Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical/mechanical equipment and systems such as: compressors, cooling towers, evaporator condensers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, conveyor systems, motors, and forklift equipment.
• Conducts Preventative Maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Reports actual and potential food and personal safety problems/concerns to management immediately.
• Responds to routine and emergency calls for repair and service in a timely, efficient manner.
• A successful candidate 1-3 years’ experience in maintenance.
• Perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting (up to 75lbs, unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
• Working at heights 30 ft
• Safely use various manual, power and safety tools common to maintenance
• Handle commonly used chemicals in accordance with SOPs and SDS
