Thales has a vacancy for a Maintenance Technician for the North Kingstown site, you will be responsible for providing technical support for all personalization and insertion machinery / equipment with regards to Health & Safety, Quality and Productivity. The intervention could be a corrective or preventive action to the equipment. As part of the duties of this position you will be engaged on supporting the cost reduction plan in place, spare parts inventory and maintenance KPI improvements.
Schedule: 3rd Shift 11pm to 7am, starting on Sunday night until Friday morning (occasional overtime on Friday night into Saturday)
Physical Environment: Shopfloor / Office. Also must possess: strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium to heavy physical work, to work around machines, to climb and descend ladders, to operate a variety of tools and equipment; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and to distinguish colors in wiring; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio.
