Position Summary
The primary role of a Maintenance Technician will be to support production by setting-up, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading associated manufacturing equipment. Other tasks may be assigned by the Manager as needed.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Focus on production equipment performance to optimize safety, efficiency, quality, and reduced downtime.
- Develop procedures to improve equipment throughput and quality.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance – Weekly and Monthly.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment with a focus on identifying the root cause of failure, and implementing permanent solutions to ongoing equipment problems.
- Collaborate with engineering team and machine shop vendors when required.
- Contribute to inventory control.
- Maintain maintenance logs accurately and neatly.
- Make all necessary adjustments to equipment to ensure quality product.
- Look for methods to keep repair costs down, and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Work within ISO 9001, 14001, and 50001 framework.
- Attend company functions/meetings and adhere to company policy.
- Follow written work instruction.
- Work as a team to accomplish organization goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Basic understanding of computers (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to operate various hand tools.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/production support.
- High-level mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting.
- PLC programming/troubleshooting experience.
- Vision System programming/troubleshooting experience.
- Associate’s degree or higher training in a technical field (automation, electrical, manufacturing technology, mechanical).
Special Position Requirements
- Schedule: Core work hours will be 2nd shift (M‑F, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm), occasional Saturday overtime as required by production schedule.
- Physical Environment: Manufacturing/Production Floor, Warehouse.
- Travel: N/A.

Compensation
The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) 52,499.85 - 87,499.75 USD Annual.
