Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Michigan. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read technical documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical and/or electrical).
• Experience working with production or plant equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Comfortable in a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns during production and complete scheduled maintenance.
• Diagnose issues, repair or replace components, and test equipment performance.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime and keeping operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns during production and complete scheduled maintenance
• Diagnose issues, repair or replace components, and test equipment performanceRead and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Industrial setting with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and airborne particles. Role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
