Ultrafab is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Greer, SC. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, the ability to diagnose complex equipment issues, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Technical, vocational, or trade school training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including motors, controls, sensors, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.
• Welding, machining, fabrication, and PLC troubleshooting experience are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to production priorities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine effective corrective actions.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Install, maintain, and repair motors, sensors, controls, conveyors, and other production equipment.
• Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs within the CMMS system.
• Assist with facility maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC support, and general building repairs.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and communicate replacement needs.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Cross-train and assist with additional maintenance tasks as needed.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour (plus shift differential)
Schedule: Sunday night through Thursday night | 3rd Shift
Full-Time | On-Site

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and working in confined spaces as needed.
• Ability to work around moving machinery and industrial equipment while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions.
