Terzo Enterprises in Gresham, OR is seeking a Machine Operator to inspect and separate pallets by grade and prepare them for forklift pickup, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity in line with Terzo Enterprises standards.

The role starts at $20.00 per hour with training in the first two weeks on the 1st shift, and a Friday–Monday schedule. Comprehensive benefits accompany a team-oriented work environment.

Responsabilidades

• Comply with all safety procedures at all times while performing job duties using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to operate automated sortation equipment effectively and safely.
• Inspect pallets at a rate that meets company and safety standards safely and securely.
• Machine Operator manually guides 70 lbs. pallets from an automated indexer onto a conveyor system. Visually inspects pallets and determines the level of repair needed.
• Ensure that proper inspection and separation of pallets are met, while achieving company expectations.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Machine Operator is responsible for inspecting and separating pallets into different grades and placing them in the appropriate area ready to be picked up by the forklift in a manner that meets Terzo Enterprises standards for safety, security, and productivity, in addition to adhering to the quality criteria.

Work Schedule: Friday–Monday

• Friday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Monday: 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM

The first two weeks will be 1st shift for training

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift and move 70-80 pounds repetitively
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day).
• Able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.
• Able to use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment consists of occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot. Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection is provided). Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving forklifts. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
