Job summary

Cirrus Asset Management seeks a Maintenance Technician for Waterford Place, a 128-unit property. You will perform diverse building maintenance tasks, from electrical and plumbing to painting and door hardware, ensuring safety standards are met.

Role includes documenting work and participating in ongoing safety training. Compensation ranges $21–$24 per hour, with standard Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm hours.

Qualifications

• Previous working experience as a Maintenance Technician (1 year) required.
• High school diploma.
• Certification such as HVAC, CMRP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders within designated time frame.
• Complete turnover on all apartments within 5 days of move out.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems for health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (bulbs, sockets, panels).
• Maintain and repair plumbing and heating components.
• Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintain locks, doors, and controllers.
• Document fire extinguishers, alarm contacts, and building systems.

• Complete work orders within designated time frame
• Complete turn over on all apartments that move out within 5 days of move out
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
• Maintain and repair plumbing and heating components
• Prepare, prime, and paint building interior and exterior surfaces
• Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and controllers.
• Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarm contacts and other building systems
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Document work performance and materials procurement as directed

Qualifications

• Previous working experience as a Maintenance Technician for (1) year(s) - Required
• High school diploma
• Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage (HVAC, CMRP etc.)
• In depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Applicable knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Problem solving aptitude
