Job summary

Tyson Foods in Scranton, AR is hiring a Production Rendering Generalist for all shifts. This role supports production operations by unloading and washing trailers, monitoring cookers, loading trucks, and maintaining the control room.

Candidates must have mechanical/maintenance skills, be able to work standing, lift up to 60 pounds, and pass a post-offer drug screen. Willing to work shifts A-D and comply with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical/maintenance skills listed in work history or skills section on application.
• Will be willing to work shift A, B, C, or D.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass urinalysis screening post-offer health assessment.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements (standing, lifting up to 60 lbs, bending, climbing stairs) and work in hot/cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Unload and wash all trailers, tankers and reefers; monitor cookers and soap and wash all plant areas.
• Load trucks and maintain the control room; complete accurate paperwork.
• Check lubrication on machinery; change oil and belts on gear boxes and perform PM and auger inspections.
• Assist maintenance when needed while maintaining a safe work environment and Tyson policies.
