Work Shift: 1st Shift (9/80A) - Every other Friday off, but overtime may require working on off-Fridays or weekends as needed.
PayRate Max: $35 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to join our team in Bethpage, NY. This role is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on plant or office facilities, machines, and equipment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will contribute to ensuring the continuous operation of various systems and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform work in various maintenance trades, including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.

• Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine the repair and maintenance needs of facilities, machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns.

• Use hand and power tools to test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment.

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications to perform tasks.

• Provide management support and possess knowledge of boiler systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building alarm systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices in mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building alarm systems.

• Experience with equipment and machinery repairs.

• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• College education preferred but not required.
