Location: Bethpage, NY (NYB22 - 999 S Oyster (A573))
Work Shift: 1st Shift (9/80A) - Every other Friday off, but overtime may require working on off-Fridays or weekends as needed.
PayRate Max: $35 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to join our team in Bethpage, NY. This role is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on plant or office facilities, machines, and equipment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will contribute to ensuring the continuous operation of various systems and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform work in various maintenance trades, including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine the repair and maintenance needs of facilities, machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Use hand and power tools to test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment.
Interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications to perform tasks.
Provide management support and possess knowledge of boiler systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building alarm systems.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of maintenance practices in mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building alarm systems.
Experience with equipment and machinery repairs.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
College education preferred but not required.
