*The successful candidate will work from home and will be dispatched to client sites in the New Jersey area to troubleshoot and resolve AV issues in board rooms and conference rooms.*
*Description:*
*TEKsystems is seeking an AV Service Engineer to service existing customers in the New Jersey metro area. Candidates should be well-versed troubleshooters in Audio Video technology, with experience in major AV brands such as Crestron and Biamp. Responsibilities include in-person troubleshooting of audio-video systems in executive board rooms and conference centers. Professionalism and customer interfacing skills are essential.*
*Key Skills and Experience:*
- *7-8+ years of AV integration and/or field service experience.*
- *Troubleshooting expertise with Crestron systems and legacy AV systems.*
- *Ability to debug and test systems using tools like multimeters.*
- *Knowledge of AV products such as Extron, Biamp, QSC, Cisco, POLY, LOGITECH, Luxul, NETGEAR, LG, Samsung, Barco, and digital signage systems.*
- *Strong understanding of signal flow, low voltage electrical concepts, and AV networking.*
- *Customer service experience with regular customer interaction.*
- *Technical education or equivalent experience; CTS certification preferred.*
- *Minimum 3 years of field service experience.*
- *Valid driver’s license with a clean record.*
- *Physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting over 50 pounds, and working in various environments.*
*Other Responsibilities:*
- *Conduct preventative maintenance testing.*
- *Perform site surveys and write concise reports.*
- *Manage multiple service projects and mentor junior technicians.*
*Position Details:*
- *Remote work, dispatched locally.*
- *Pay range: $40.00 - $55.00/hr.*
