Job summary

VF Corporation in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) for our distribution center. The role is 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 4PM-2:30AM, and focuses on maintaining and servicing equipment, systems and facilities to ensure reliable operation.

You will diagnose issues using schematics, work with low voltage AC/DC up to 480V, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with a team of mechanics. A high school diploma and electro-mechanical training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electro-mechanical training a plus.
• Experience with ASRS shuttle systems and high-speed sortation preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and good time management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to climb and work up to 45 feet high.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, attendance and security procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment using root-cause analysis.
• Read mechanical/electrical schematics and manuals; understand equipment operation.
• Collaborate with mechanics; communicate with team members and customers.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Work with low voltage AC/DC systems up to 480V/3 phase.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
