Job summary

Revere Plastics Systems, LLC is seeking maintenance technicians for our injection molding operation. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on hydraulic and electric injection molding machinery and related equipment, documenting activity logs and completing PMs.

The role requires ability to read schematics, knowledge of PLCs, and a hands-on approach. Weekend availability and overtime may be required; shift differential applies on 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics, compressors, and dryers.
• Knowledge of Ladder Logic and PLC systems.
• Reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of injection molding machinery and related equipment.
• Maintain equipment operating logs and document activities while on duty.
• Repair hydraulic systems, HVAC, conveyors, pneumatic circuits and electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication skills demonstrated; follow safety standards (OSHA/ANSI).
• Repair and PMs on auxiliary equipment; identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Move, install, and adjust fixtures, motors, and other equipment; reduce downtime.

We are looking for individuals with experience in plastic injection molding maintenance and repair to join our maintenance team. These technicians will be tasked with performing complicated repairs to hydraulic and electric machines as well as other repairs as needed. Troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and with minimal direction is essential for this position.

Daily job tasks look like the following:

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of injection molding machinery and related equipment.
• Maintaining equipment operating logs and properly document activities while on duty.
• Completing repair of hydraulic systems, HVAC, conveyors, pneumatic circuits, electrical systems and fixtures.
• Troubleshooting ability is required along with welding and fabrication skills.
• Following all safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations and standards.
• Repairing and conducting PM's on all auxiliary equipment.
• Identifying maintenance concerns and issues and works to assist with the resolution of them.
• Moves, installs and adjusts fixtures, motors, and other electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Reduce machine downtime and improve manufacturing process.
• Perform problem analysis and resolution.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Previous experience troubleshooting, electrical, hydraulics, air compressor, and air dryer work experience.
• Knowledge of Ladder Logic and PLC experience required.
• Knowledge of machine shop equipment, mechanical skills, troubleshooting and National Electric Code
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics. Ability to read blue prints.
• Solid knowledge in industrial electricity, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding equipment and power safety.
• Ability to climb overhead structures, and to work underneath machines in close quarters in order to perform day-to-day tasks.
• Good communication skills maintaining professional and respectful work environment.
