Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Utility Technician in Plainfield, IN to perform routine and preventive maintenance across customer sites. The role focuses on keeping equipment reliable, reducing major repairs, and following safety rules with PPE as needed.

Responsibilities include keeping a clean work area, inspecting and repairing fleet tools, and assisting with high-rise cleaning tasks while driving to sites as required. High school diploma or GED and basic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months in a company environment or equivalent experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license may be required based on business needs.
• Forklift certification may be required. All safety trainings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean work area and comply with safety rules and procedures.
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
• Follow posted safety standards and wear PPE when necessary.
• Inspect and repair fleet vehicles, troubleshoot power tools or replace a broken component on a production machine.
• Inspect work process to ensure projects turn out correctly.
• Take direction and perform work in a team with others.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• May utilize Boom Lift/Highlift for high rise window cleaning and dusting.
• Clean stainless steel and frames; perform light cleaning tasks.
• Drive to various work locations or sites as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
