Job summary

SBM is seeking a Utility Technician to perform routine maintenance across various environments. The role focuses on preventative maintenance to boost efficiency and reduce major repairs.

You will inspect fleet vehicles and production equipment, ensuring safety standards are met and defects are addressed promptly. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean workspace, following safety protocols, and collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months in a company environment or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clear MVR; forklift certification may be required.
• Completed safety and task training certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean work area and comply with SBM safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Inspect and repair fleet vehicles, troubleshoot power tools, or replace broken components on production machines.
• Follow safety standards and wear PPE when necessary.
• Take direction and respond to supervision; work in a team.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
