Job description

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose problems, and complete projects on various industrial systems during the second shift at a printed circuit board manufacturing facility. Support manufacturing teams to ensure equipment operates correctly and collaborate with contractors on larger projects. Use experience to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, and building issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Execute maintenance procedures and complete tasks efficiently.
2. Identify and resolve issues during facility inspections.
3. Troubleshoot electrical systems using a multi-meter, working with voltages from 480 VAC to 24 VDC.
4. Diagnose AC & DC motors; rebuilding motors is a plus.
5. Maintain hydraulic systems, including operating and rebuilding pumps.
6. Follow all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations.
7. Plan and execute repair and installation activities.
8. Manage inventory by inputting data on equipment and supplies.
9. Maintain maintenance logs and report daily activities.
10. Comply with health and safety policies.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and the 2nd shift Operations Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess a sense of urgency in all tasks. Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting. Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and facility equipment. Ability to track and report activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or a degree in business administration is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and sit or stand for extended periods.
