Job summary

Valeo in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) to perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance on injection molding machines and assembly equipment. You will troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs on Fanuc, Kuka, and other robotics, and lead subcontractors when needed.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma (Assoc degree preferred) and 4+ years in high-speed manufacturing or relevant technical training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical Associates degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with high-speed manufacturing and/or assembly equipment.
• 4+ years of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience; PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance on injection molding machines and assembly equipment.
• Repair/troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs on Fanuc, Kuka, and other robotics brands.
• Handle scheduled preventative maintenance and unplanned emergency repairs.
• Guide subcontractors on the 2nd shift and oversee maintenance activities.
