Job summary

Denali Ingredients is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production in a food processing environment.

• Maintenance: Perform maintenance, inspections, PMs and installs of production mechanical and electrical systems
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment using testing devices and schematics
• Repairs: Execute repairs on mechanical and electrical production equipment and systems
• Installation: Install new mechanical and electrical equipment and systems; ensure safety and industry standards
• Upgrades: Assist upgrading existing mechanical and electrical systems to improve efficiency
• Safety Compliance: Ensure work complies with safety regulations and food safety protocols
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records using CMMS
• Collaboration: Work with production and maintenance to minimize downtime
• Emergency Response: Respond to mechanical/electrical emergencies to prevent production interruptions
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Housekeeping: Routine housekeeping in department; adhere to safety procedures

Education And/or Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical technology preferred.
• Experience: Previous 3-5 years’ experience as an industrial maintenance technician, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Strong mechanical, analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Effective oral and written communications are essential, as are interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a team environment is required. Must have effective PC skills to include MS Office software such as Excel and Word. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and with frequent, established deadlines is required. Organizational and analytical skills are required. The ability to work effectively with diverse populations is required.
