Job summary

Denali Ingredients is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production in a food processing environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team while following food safety standards. On-site work with competitive compensation and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical technology preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years as industrial maintenance technician, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Strong mechanical, analytical and troubleshooting abilities; attention to detail; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: Perform maintenance, inspections, PMs and installs of production mechanical and electrical systems
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment using testing devices and schematics
• Repairs: Execute repairs on mechanical and electrical production equipment and systems
• Installation: Install new mechanical and electrical equipment and systems; ensure safety and industry standards
• Upgrades: Assist upgrading existing mechanical and electrical systems to improve efficiency
• Safety Compliance: Ensure work complies with safety regulations and food safety protocols
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records using CMMS
• Collaboration: Work with production and maintenance to minimize downtime
• Emergency Response: Respond to mechanical/electrical emergencies to prevent production interruptions
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Housekeeping: Routine housekeeping in department; adhere to safety procedures
• Other duties as required
