Job summary

Alltech in Buffalo, TX, is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to help keep our manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and proven experience as a maintenance technician, with knowledge of 240/480-volt systems and welding. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

About the Role:

The 2nd shift Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility in Buffalo, TX. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical systems, which directly impacts production efficiency and safety. The technician will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical repairs, plumbing, and electrical wiring, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally. Additionally, the role involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Ultimately, the Maintenance Technician contributes to minimizing downtime and enhancing the overall productivity of the manufacturing process.

• Mechanical repair:perform tear-downs, part replacement, alignment, and reassembly to restore equipment performance.
• Precision measurement:verify repairs/installations meet spec using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
• Work at heights:safely climb ladders and access elevated areas as needed.
• Communication & teamwork:clearly document work and collaborate with operators, maintenance, and leadership.
