Job summary

Distribution Center is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for a 2B shift (Tue-Fri, 5:30p-3:30a). The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-driven systems, with PM documentation in our asset system.

Strong wiring and schematics reading are essential. Applicants should have an Associate's Degree or equivalent, 3-5 years of experience, welding/cutting skills, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Welding, burning, cutting.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
  • Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment.
  • Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics.
  • Good safety awareness.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Experience with LOTO.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system. Areas of expertise must include PLC’s, conveyors, 3 phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and any other related equipment.
  • Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
  • Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians in order to elevate their performance level while troubleshooting and repairing any related assets.
  • Work closely with outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
  • Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and it’s operational needs.

Rate: $29.55/hr. + $1/hr. shift dif

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Targeted Pay Range: $29.55 - $42.90. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
