Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Indiana to help ensure production equipment runs smoothly and safely. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and assist with repairs, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, with hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs, and can read manuals and schematics

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical systems knowledge; troubleshoot panels up to 480V.
• 3+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment and conveyors.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics with safe practices.
• Basic troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with PLC.

Qualifications:

• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (troubleshooting electrical panels 480 and below).
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Good knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery (heavy equipment including conveyor lines experience is preferred).
• Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics - great knowledge of safety when working around equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for minor mechanical or electrical issues.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience in PLC.
