Responsibilities include:

• Managing all technical aspects of injection molding and assembly automation to maximize production and minimize scrap, including monitoring processes, troubleshooting equipment issues, and communicating tooling problems.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment related to automation and molding.
• Operating molding machines, automation, and support equipment.
• Collaborating with setup technicians and operators to ensure proper equipment operation.
• Performing preventive maintenance and managing spare parts inventory.
• Documenting work according to quality and maintenance systems.
• Improving efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
• Supporting quality team in corrective actions from customer rejections.
• Communicating across shifts and with technicians about equipment status.
• Performing lockout/tagout procedures and accommodating flexible schedules as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with automated manufacturing machinery.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with automated assembly and sonic welding preferred.
• Experience with tool and die maintenance beneficial.
• Ability to read schematics and attend PLC troubleshooting training.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Safe operation of required equipment.
