Come join our team! We are a manufacturing company based out of Traverse City since 1995, seeking 1st and 3rd shift maintenance technicians with proven experience for our Grand Rapids location.

Job Description

The maintenance technicians respond to machine and system failures, troubleshoot as needed, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure all machines operate safely and efficiently. Candidates should understand electronics, electricity, pneumatic, hydraulics, and mechanics. Experience with flexographic printers and die cutters is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding major equipment such as balers, conveyors, hydraulic power packs, diverters, compressors, motors, glass breakers, fans, pumps, forklifts, and building equipment
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-mechanical, and automation devices
• Ability to read and interpret prints, sketches, and diagrams for fabrication or repair
• Effective communication skills and teamwork
• Willingness to work overtime
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods
