Maintenance Technician II or III - 2nd Shift

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician performs highly diversified duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of machines, equipment, and plant facilities. This includes scheduled, unscheduled, or emergency repairs. Perform regular preventive maintenance, including maintaining supporting documentation for the PMs.

Shift Details

2nd Shift: 2:50 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday + Every Other Weekend

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance according to skill level and safety policies.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
  • Detect faulty operations, report unusual situations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and work order systems (EAM).
  • Perform work safely, adhering to GMPs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Technician Level II: Experience with basic electrical systems, compressors, air cylinders, sensors, hydraulic systems, and building maintenance.

Technician Level III: Experience with advanced electrical systems, reading electrical diagrams, mechanical blueprints, building small panels, basic PLCs, machining, welding, and understanding thermocouple operation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2-year trades degree or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and good record-keeping.
  • Motivated, flexible, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Welding, fabrication, electrical troubleshooting.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, temperature variations.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, work in high temperatures, and possibly on weekends or nights.
