Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Multi-Craft Technician to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory supplies.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure optimal equipment performance and production efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or food manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
