Job summary

Schulte Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a growing manufacturing company in Franklin, NH. This role focuses on troubleshooting equipment, keeping production running safely, and improving reliability in a fast-paced plant.

The position offers a heat-for-production environment with a Monday–Friday schedule, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and a pay range of $24.00–$30.00 per hour plus a 10% shift differential for the 2nd shift. Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical issues.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and repair planning.
• Proficiency with documenting work in maintenance records and CMMS.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel between facilities if needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance according to scheduled plans.
• Diagnose equipment issues, replace components, and verify operation.
• Perform lubrication, oil changes, and routine inspections.
• Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (advanced programming not required).
• Read and interpret manuals, work orders, and technical documentation.
• Perform occasional plumbing and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and maintenance systems (CMMS).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between facilities if needed.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints or schematics.
• Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Experience with machine tools and industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Basic math and trigonometry skills.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality systems.
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, heat, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
