Job summary

Shape Products is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, diagnose issues, and support equipment upgrades and installations.

Join a team that values continuous improvement, accurate maintenance records, and strong collaboration with operators, engineers, and partners. Day and night shifts with 8, 10, or 12 hour options are available.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for rebuilding gears, fixtures and forming equipment.
• Low voltage wiring installation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of three-phase circuits and motor control circuits.
• Basic industrial controls knowledge (contactors, relays).
• Pneumatic systems understanding.

Responsibilities

Join Shape Products as a Maintenance Technician!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled technician to join our team and contribute to maintaining and improving our electrical systems and production machinery. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Compensation:

$28-$40/hours

• Yearly bonus

Shifts & Schedule:

• Day and Nights
• 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools and implement corrective actions
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and performance data
• Provide technical support and training to operators and team members
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Communicate with production, engineering, and external partners to resolve equipment issues efficiently

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical aptitude- rebuild gears, alignment plates, fixtures and forming equipment
• Low Voltage wiring - installation and trouble shooting
• Ability and understanding of three phase circuits and motor control circuits
• Basic understanding of industrial controls (contactors, relays etc.)
• Basic understanding of pneumatic systems
• Simple machining and layout
• Various mechanical and light electrical repairs
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent Customer service and communication
• Able to plan and execute projects small to large
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine documentation
