Job summary

Flooring Services LTD in East Bernard, Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment in our manufacturing plant. This role will perform and assist with preventive maintenance across plant equipment.

Ideal candidates have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, PLC experience, and the ability to read electrical drawings; welding/fabrication is a plus. 3+ years in maintenance in a manufacturing environment is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of 480 Volt 3 phase power, logic controllers, motor starters and variable frequency drives.
• Must be able to read and follow written directions.
• Experienced with troubleshooting PLC based control systems desired.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications.
• Strong background in electrical troubleshooting is highly recommended.
• Welding and fabrication skills considered a plus.

Job Summary

This person will be responsible for the repair and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the manufacturing plant. He/She will also be responsible for performing and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment.

• Repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical/electronic equipment.
• Perform and/or assist with preventive maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Factory Distribution environment will include some heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
