Job summary

First Call in Whitestown, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support production equipment, preventative maintenance programs, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. This is a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule with a $2/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience working with hydraulic systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Repair or replace hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, and actuators.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and complete necessary repairs.
• Install, upgrade, repair, and replace electrical components and control systems.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and safety checks.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
