Job summary

Fenner Dunlop is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Lavonia manufacturing team on 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). This on-site role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems to support safe and efficient plant operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and hands-on industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with engineers

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
2+ years industrial maintenance experience, preferably in textile or manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams.
Experience with preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Diagnose failures and perform safe, effective repairs to minimize downtime.
Read manuals and schematics to guide maintenance work.
Document maintenance activities in CMMS.
Support continuous improvement and root-cause analysis.
