Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year degree in a specialized maintenance trade preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience in maintenance or manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work varying shifts (full-time/overtime/weekends).
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and welding tasks; able to read schematics and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot conveyor systems and production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Perform complex mechanical repairs (shaft keying, broaching, gear head replacement, welding, hydraulic hose fabrication).
• Assist with equipment setup, teardown, welding, fabrication, and installation of plant machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues via observation and measurement, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Utilize SAP to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and coordinate with production teams.
