Job summary

Envalior is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to support our Evansville, IN facility on the 2nd or 3rd shift. You will help maintain and optimize production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues and work with operations and engineering to minimize downtime.

The role requires at least 3 years in industrial maintenance, with training in mechanics. Reading drawings, welding and tool use are part of daily tasks, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar mechanical role.
• Technical education or vocational training in mechanics preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventive maintenance.
• Able to read mechanical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Experience with welding, rigging and safe tool operation.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and maintaining a safe environment.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and communication.
• Good English communication, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to work the 2nd shift and reside within commuting distance of Evansville.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment such as pumps, gearboxes and conveyors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives with operations and engineering.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals accurately.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and perform welding or rigging as needed.
